One of the most significant changes that happened to the features of Google Apps (now known as G Suite) towards the end of 2016 was the return of "Citation" tool back into Google Docs. The feature was removed from Google Docs in September 2016 and Educators around the world lamented about it in a number of articles and blogs. Using it in tandem with the Explore function, citations as footnotes can be inserted in research reports, whitepapers. The format of the citation can also be chosen from MLA, APA, and Chicago styles.
