Canned Responses in Gmail

Gmail has some useful tools that can help you manage  time efficiently. One way  of doing  that  is  to zip through email s   by using  Canned   Responses  in Gmail .  Canned Responses  are messages that you compose and then save to re-use whenever you want. Here is a short video from yours truly, on how you can create and use Canned Responses in Gmail. Note: This feature is best used on the web version of Gmail. If you are using the Gmail App on your SmartPhones, you can use the Smart Replies  feature. Smart Replies are those automated suggestions that appear when you're writing a response in to a message in Gmail on your Android/iOS device.

CITATION returned to Google Docs

One of the most significant changes that happened to the features of Google Apps (now known as G Suite) towards the end of 2016 was the return of ​"Citation" ​tool ​back into Google Docs. The feature was removed from Google Docs in September 2016 and Educators around the world lamented about it in a number of articles and blogs. Using it in tandem with the Explore function​, citations as footnotes​ can be inserted in research reports, ​whitepapers. The format of the citation can also be chosen from MLA, APA, and Chicago styles. To try it out: Open a document in Google Docs . Click the “Explore” icon from the bottom right Type a search in the search bar to search your docs and the web. To add a citation from the web, hover over the search result and​ click “Cite as footnote”. The ​Citation function ​however ​only works when you are using the "Explore" functio
