Using the About Tab in Google Classroom




The “About” tab is where you store your Classroom resources like:
  • Syllabus
  • Class Rules
  • Google Docs, Google Drive Folder that you and your students will use regularly throughout the year
Try to make the list not too large. Instead, you can add resources to your Google Drive folder that you and your students will regularly use throughout the year.

Share a Part of YouTube Video

Sharing YouTube videos is great way to add content to your post. However,​ ​there are times ​ ​when we ​ ​just want to share that interesting 35-second moment from that 16 min video, or​ ​just​ ​​skip the boring introduction of the video​. Here are two easy methods for sharing a specific part of a YouTube video. Method#1 Copy Video URL Play the video that you would like to share and pause it at the point from where you would like to share it. Now right click anywhere on the video, and select  “Copy video URL at current time”  from the menu. Method# 2 Edit video while sharing Click on the “Share” button below the video, and you will see a “Start at” button below the video URL.
