Collect bookmarks and citations automatically

Check out CITABLE - a really cool Google Chrome extension that makes the process of researching, collecting and saving information very simple.


Citable automatically collects everything you highlight and saves it into a Google Sheets spreadsheet, along with any additional reference info (like author, URL, and article title) you’d need for a web citation.


Not only it is a handy tool for saving Bookmarks, but you can also export the information to create a bibliography.

CITATION returned to Google Docs

One of the most significant changes that happened to the features of Google Apps (now known as G Suite) towards the end of 2016 was the return of ​"Citation" ​tool ​back into Google Docs. The feature was removed from Google Docs in September 2016 and Educators around the world lamented about it in a number of articles and blogs. Using it in tandem with the Explore function​, citations as footnotes​ can be inserted in research reports, ​whitepapers. The format of the citation can also be chosen from MLA, APA, and Chicago styles. To try it out: Open a document in Google Docs . Click the “Explore” icon from the bottom right Type a search in the search bar to search your docs and the web.
